Ride description: A mostly flat course with a few small hills, which meanders through numerous small towns in Crawford & Cherokee counties, past historic landmarks like the Big Brutus coal shovel & the Crawford County museum.
Directions: Ride starts on the PSU campus. Registration is at the Gorilla Village on the east side of Carnie Smith Stadium. From Hwy 69 or Broadway St (Hwy 69B) head east on Quincy St. to Joplin St. Go south on Joplin St. to the first stop sign at Williams St. Turn east onto Williams and park behind the stadium. Registration is at the south end of the parking lot. Quincy St. is one mile south of Hwy 125 (4th St).
Drive time to Pittsburg (if you drive slow) from: KC-2hrs, Springfield-2hrs, Topeka-3.5hrs, Wichita-3hrs, Tulsa-3hrs, Fayetteville-2.5hrs.
